On November 9 2012 Our beloved Cookie passed on, She has been miss greatly.
Cookie was a very unusual Dog, by far the best behaved dog and gentlest I ever seen, she never got into anything, never chewed anything, was not aggressive with anyone or the other pets.Cookie was ever old we got her for a neighbor who left her outside in the Ice Storm a few years ago (2004). I remember it well the summer before that that she would come over to the house and lay in my garage while I worked on cars.She follow me where ever I went when she seen me outside. The day of the Ice storm, my wife (Diana) and I brought her into the house. The next day the guy came looking for his dog.He wanted to know if we had seen her, I open the door and said yes she right here. She stayed lying on the floor. He looked at me and went back home. I had heard he was thinking of taking her to the Dog Pound and in my book that wasn’t going to happen.I remember nothing but good times of Cookie she spent a lot of her time laying beside me while I was on the computer. She loved her snack I can tell you that much.I use to call her my bear rug because my wife had fatten her up so much that she just looked like a big old rug laying there on the floor.At the end she was having some health problems with her ears and lost her hearing went were going to try and get a operation that would help it some but god decide to take her home.I don’t think she suffer when she went, Thank god. My wife found her lying on the floor beside my chair where she always laid when she came home from the store.I will never find another dog that was like her and I will miss her dearly.
