The Way The Crow Flies
The Way The Crow Flies
Most Crow fly when they leave the next don't they?
Well most of the time they do, but some get booted out by the other siblings early because the nest is not big enough to hold them all. Crows can lay up to 7 eggs in one nest, as they grow this doesn't leave much room sometimes.
Or sometimes a strong wind may take the hole nest nest down.
We really don' know witch of the above lead to us to discovering Chants on the back fence trying to stay away from the cat while mom and dad circle over head.
My wife,Diana, and her son Shawn, managed to get him to walk into a cat carrier so they could get him inside before the kitties had dinner. I know they were licking their chops just hoping he hit the ground.
So meet chants the newest member to the family
Yes, I know he looks like he a full grow bird but he's still young as far as it goes for Crows. He just now getting all his fight feathers.
Chants, got his name because now he has a second chance at life that most crows in the wild would not get.
