Baby was left around are house and was found in the front yard, If we had not found her she probably would have end up dead for starvation.
They can’t survive like most people think, they are domesticated animals. They can’t hunt for themselves their parents never taught them too.
They grow up being dependent on use to feed them.
Here is something else to keep in mind, when you find someone lost pet.
The Humane Society here in Columbus Ohio only keeps cats 24 hour before they are put to sleep there not much chance of the owner finding them before this happens.
Dogs for some reason get 3 day and they also will be put down.
That why it’s best to have a chip place in them just because of this so your pet can be returned to you.
Most vets can read the chips if you find one loose.
They will call in this number and get the name and address of the owner for you.
So if you love your pet it best to have a chip place in them. It’s not that hard to have done it just goes under the skin, then it can be scannedif you pet becomes lost or get out on you.
You’ll have a higher chance of having you pet returned to you by having the chip implanted in them.
